Bill Gross | Chairman of the Board
Founder and Chairman/CEO of Idealab. A lifelong entrepreneur, he built a portfolio of successful companies.
More than a dozen of his business ventures have exited with success. Gross serves on the boards of directors of numerous
companies including two other solar businesses, eSolar and Energy Innovations. He is also a member of the Board of Trustees
of the California Institute of Technology and of the Art Center College of Design. He received his B.S. in Mechanical
Engineering from the California Institute of Technology.
Jack L. Rivkin | Director
Jack Rivkin joined the RayTracker Board of Directors in 2010 and has been a respected figure in the investment industry
for many years. Since his retirement in 2008, he has been engaged with the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP)
in climate change discussions regarding private capital as well as with the Atlantische Community. Mr. Rivkin was also a
member of the Neuberger Berman Climate Change Fund Advisory Board, a climate change fund that he created while Chief
Investment Officer there. He holds several board positions with a wide variety of companies worldwide including Idealab,
Dale Carnegie and the Neuberger Berman Mutual Funds. He is the subject of a series of management case studies developed
by the Harvard Business School. He is the co-author of Risk and Reward--Venture Capital and the Making of America's Great
Industries (Random House). Mr. Rivkin earned his professional Engineering degree from the Colorado School of Mines and
his MBA from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration.
Richard Klein | Director
CEO and Founder of Quixotic Systems Inc., a New York City based solar systems integrator.
Klein is also an inventor and investor in solar business. He established the Klein-Rudd Alternative Energy Fund, a.k.a. Phoenix Energy Fund,
to invest in Energy Technology companies whose goal is to enhance the effectiveness of clean energy production while becoming profitable.
Klein is an early stage investor in several of the world's leading solar companies. He holds a BA in Philosophy from Colgate University
and did postgraduate studies in Mathematics and Physics at Columbia University. Mr. Klein also holds several U.S. Patents in the domain of solar energy.
